Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms under which Anna G Candles LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles requests for returns and refunds for candles purchased through our website or in person. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set forth in this Policy.

 

1. Scope of Policy

All products sold by the Company are handcrafted, natural candles. Due to the bespoke nature of our production process and the hygienic considerations associated with candle usage, we do not accept returns or issue refunds, except as expressly provided herein.

 

2. Damaged or Defective Products

2.1 Notification Requirement: You must notify us of any damaged or defective products within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. Notifications made after this period will not be eligible for remedy.

2.2 Proof of Damage or Defect: To initiate a claim, you must provide:

  • A copy of the original order confirmation or receipt.

  • Photographs clearly showing the damage or defect in the product and its packaging.

  • A detailed description of the issue.

2.3 Inspection and Verification: Upon receipt of your claim, we reserve the right to inspect the returned product to verify the damage or defect.

2.4 Remedies: If we confirm that the product is damaged or defective, you may elect one of the following remedies:

  • Replacement: We will send, at no additional cost, a replacement candle of equal or comparable size, color, and scent.

  • Refund: We will issue a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping fees) to the original method of payment within fourteen (14) business days of confirming the claim.

 

3. Non-Returnable Products

Except for claims of damage or defect as described in Section 2, all sales are final. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind or preference.

  • Incorrect scent, color, or size ordered by the customer.

  • Clearance, sale, or promotional items.

 

4. Return Shipping

4.1 Company Liability: If a return is approved under Section 2, the Company will provide a prepaid shipping label and/or cover the cost of return shipping.

4.2 Customer Liability: If a return is not due to damage or defect, or if the return is outside the timeframe specified in Section 2.1, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, and the Company will not issue a refund.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS POLICY OR THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS POLICY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

 

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Policy and any disputes arising under or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Johnson County, Texas.

 

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time by posting the updated Policy on our website with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of our website and purchase of products after such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
